savoured memories

Although I have taught in public school systems, without a doubt, Galt House Academy was an incredible love. I carry with me a host of truly remarkable memories filled with love, laughter, and friendship. I consider my Galt House years to be great years filled with youth, energy, passion, and love. I miss all the students, families, and lives that touched my soul and altered me.  Whether at sea or on land, memories of Galt House Academy haunt me, and although, life is lived in the present, I have begun to tutor students again because I love teaching so much.  I cannot deny that my artistic soul needs to create, and the adventurer in me needs to fulfill dreams and passion, but I am unable to leave teaching behind, and wherever I find myself in the world, I find the teacher in me is always at the fore front of all my journeys.

I have taught some very remarkable students!  And of all the graduates of Galt House that I taught, only two have not completed a college or University degree – and many have gone on to much higher educational levels, own companies, head departments, and I know that they are great forces to be reckoned with and they will continue to aspire, inspire, and achieve.
